What if we could be people of the Nativity throughout the year? What would our lives look like?  The Holy Child is waiting to be born anew within our hearts every day. Life is just as fraught with delight and jubilation as it is with anxiety, poverty and rejection. The story of the holy family, desperate for lodging, is the story of humanity. Our story.

God’s Love rains down from heaven.

The Word Made Flesh becomes one of us, and we hastily prepare a place for him to rest his head.  When we open our hearts to receive this greatest of all gifts, the blessed Child is indeed born in us.  So may it be with everyone in this great human family.
